Our Four Pillars of Healing were born from lived experience, deep research, and the belief that acne is never just skin deep. They are rooted in functional nutrition, psychology, and ancient healing traditions, and are designed to help you explore what your skin is trying to say, not just how to fix it.

I started Love & Acne because I couldn't find a single brand that spoke to what I was going through. Not just the breakouts—but the acne shame, the anxiety, the isolation. No one was talking about what it feels like to live with acne. How it affects the way you see yourself and how you disappear from your own life. For me, acne has never been just a skin issue. It was my body's way of telling me something deeper was out of balance—something that needed attention and healing.

After years of trying every prescription and product, my skin only got worse. It wasn't until I started looking inward—at stress, diet, gut health, and inner dialogue—that things began to shift. I became a certified Functional Nutrition Counselor and began studying the root causes of acne: inflammation, digestion, hormones, and emotional stress. I immersed myself in herbalism, creating daily rituals that supported healing acne from within.

At the same time, I was heading SEQUENCE, a social impact brand I founded in El Salvador. For over 10 years, I've seen how real transformation happens—not through quick fixes, but through intention, community, and deep personal work. Love & Acne is where all of that comes together. It's not about hiding or fixing your skin—it's about listening to it, learning from it, and healing what's underneath acne.
